Tracking a cool and dry mid-week

Lingering clouds Tuesday afternoon will give way to clearing skies later in the evening as dry air filters into the region. Northwest winds at 10 to 20 mph and cool temperatures will stick around overnight, with lows falling in the mid to upper 40s after midnight. Partly to mostly sunny skies return on Wednesday, with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s, and persisting northwest breezes at 10 to 20 mph. Mostly sunny and breezy conditions continue into Thursday, with highs once again near 70s degrees for the afternoon. Cloud cover will make a come-back through the day Friday, ahead of returning rain chances Friday evening. Unsettled weather is forecast to stick around through the weekend, bringing additional rain and thunderstorm chances.
