Tracking late-week t-showers; cool and dry start to the weekend

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas Thursday evening. A 40% - 60% chance of showers and storms will develop after 4 PM Thursday and continue into the overnight hours. Temperatures will fall to the low 60s and upper 50s after midnight, with a 30% chance of showers through the early hours of Friday. Mostly cloudy skies, and morning rain chances will give way to a cool and dry Friday afternoon. Partly cloudy skies will linger late in the day, with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 60s and northerly breezes at 10 to 15 mph. Partly cloudy skies, and cool, dry conditions will remain in place on Saturday, before warm air and thunderstorm chances return by Sunday.
