Tracking scattered t-storms and mild air

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas Wednesday afternoon and evening, with 40% to 60% chances area-wide. A few storms may produce gusty winds and hail, with a marginal risk of severe thunderstorm activity across the region into tonight. Overnight lows will fall into the low 60s to upper 50s, with mostly cloudy skies and light southerly winds. Partly to mostly cloudy skies, and a 60% chance of scattered thunderstorms will continue Thursday. Highs will reach the mid to upper 70s Thursday afternoon, with overnight lows in the 50s. Lingering rain chances Friday will give way to a brief dry out and slight cool off Saturday, before wet weather and warmer temperatures return Sunday.
