Tracking a rainy Easter evening: sunshine returns tomorrow!

HEADLINES PT 2

Moderate rain fell this morning, with skies drying out around lunchtime. More moderate rain and a few garden-variety thunderstorms are expected over the next couple of hours. Temperatures will remain cool through the rest of the evening. Skies will dry out again around 10 p.m., and tonight’s low will drop into the mid-40s.

If you're commuting along and south of I-70 toward central Missouri, note that strong storms are still expected this evening. All severe thunderstorm hazards are possible in that area, including tornadoes, damaging winds, large hail and flooding.

Tomorrow, we’ll finally see sunshine and warmer temperatures. Winds are expected to remain light from the southwest, with afternoon highs in the low 70s.

Enjoy the nice weather—rain chances return Tuesday!
