Tracking a dry and seasonable Friday

Partly cloudy, mild, and breezy conditions will continue across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas Thursday afternoon and evening. Most will remain dry aside fromĀ  a 10% - 20% chance of stray showers through sunset. Temperatures will fall out of the 60s and into the low 40s late tonight, as gusty northwest winds slack off from 15 to 25 mph to less than 10 mph after 9 PM. Mostly sunny skies will carry into Friday, along with slightly cooler temperatures as light northerly breezes keep highs in the low to mid 60s by the afternoon. A clear and cool Friday night will give way to a warm and breezy weekend as southerly winds and mostly sunny skies promote highs in the low 70s on Saturday. Temperatures will peak on Sunday, rising into the low to mid 80s, before a passing cold front brings a slight chance of showers Sunday night and cooler temperatures early next week.Ā
