Tracking cold nights and sunny days ahead

Tonight will be the first of several nights when overnight lows drop to near or below freezing. Tonight’s low is expected to be around 31 degrees. If you have sensitive vegetation, be sure to cover it.
Tomorrow, winds will be light from the north, sustained between 5 and 10 mph. Sunshine returns, but temperatures will remain below average for both highs and lows. Afternoon highs are expected to reach the mid-50s, and tomorrow night’s low will again be near freezing.
To start the work week, skies will be dry with plenty of sunshine. Highs will stay in the mid-50s Monday and climb into the low 60s by Tuesday. Monday will be windy, with winds starting from the west and shifting to the north at 10 to 15 mph, with gusts up to 22 mph.
