Tracking mild and dry mid-week: Thursday brings chances for thunderstorms

With increasing cloud cover this afternoon and winds from the northwest at 5-10 miles per hour its keeping our temperatures cooler than expected. Tonight clouds will clear out and temperatures will drop the low 40s.
Sunshine will prevail tomorrow morning with a few clouds for the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to stay mild as they reach the mid 60s.
Late Wednesday night into Thursday morning there is a chance of seeing isolated thunderstorms in our area that do have potential to go severe and sizable hail is the hazard with these possible storms. These isolated storms should diminish by the afternoon, and highs will be pushing into the upper 70s as we will have gusty winds from the south.
Friday will be warm but it will be windy. Temperatures will be in the upper 70s Friday and low 70s on Saturday. Late Saturday into Sunday a potent cold front will swing through, posing another risk for possible severe thunderstorms .
