A Winter Storm Warning issued on Monday, Feb. 10, has been downgraded to a Winter Weather Advisory for the following counties: Andrew, Atchison, Buchanan, Clinton, DeKalb, Doniphan, Gentry, and Worth.

The advisory will remain in effect until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12.

A Winter Storm Warning is still in effect for far northwestern Missouri counties, including Atchison, Holt, and Nodaway.

The warning remains in place until 9 p.m on Wednesday, Feb. 12.

This Wednesday, Feb. 12, up to 2 inches of snow fell in most areas.

Another inch or two is expected later Wednesday morning and into the afternoon.

Some dry air has intercepted the system, temporarily stopping snowfall. However, moisture wrapping around the system is expected to produce additional snow later Wednesday morning.

Wednesday evening, dangerously cold temperatures and wind chills are expected as the system moves out.
