Good morning all. We are looking at a great day across the Central Plains today, but things will quickly change by tomorrow.

Rain chances will return to the region this week, with some days bringing the potential for severe storms. Wednesday, rain chances will remain mostly limited, but by Thursday and into the weekend, rain chances take a jump to more likely for most across the Plains.

Residents will need to pay attention to the forecast to see exactly what types of severe weather will be most likely (hail, wind, tornadoes) as the forecast develops.

Looking ahead to Easter, unfortunately, Sunday is trending more stormy. Of course, things can change between now and then, but it may be a good idea to be flexible with plans this weekend. Enjoy the calm day today, because the weather will change by tomorrow.
