Trick-or-treaters should be prepared for ‘sweater weather’ this Halloween

If you plan to go trick-or-treating tonight, remember to grab a hoodie or a coat.
Temperatures will be in the mid-50s when the “night full of frights” begins. As the sun goes down, temps will drop to the upper 40s.
Although it might be cold this Halloween, there are no chances of rain in the forecast.Â
For safety and comfort, dressing kids in a base layer of clothing under costumes is a good idea. Make sure children can see — and be seen — with masks and face coverings not blocking their vision and costumes that are reflective.Â
And if your ghouls and goblins will be out for an extended period tonight, hats and gloves are a good idea.Â
