Tracking severe weather

8:10 p.m. | The tornado watch has been canceled for Buchanan County and surrounding areas, but remains in effect for parts of far northern Missouri including Nodaway, Worth and Gentry counties through 9 p.m. 


6:40 p.m. | The tornado warning has EXPIRED for Nodaway, Holt and Atchison counties. 

A tornado watch still remains in effect for all of Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas.

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of Northwest Missouri, including Maryville, Stanberry and Grant City. 


6:13 p.m. | A tornado warning has been issued for several areas in Northwest Missouri, including parts of Nodaway, Holt and Atchison counties, until 6:30 p.m.

A tornado watch is still in effect for the rest of Northwest Missouri, including Buchanan County, and Northeast Kansas.


4:07 p.m. | A tornado watch has been issued for all of Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas including Buchanan County through 9 p.m. tonight.

A threat for severe weather is expected to continue across the Mid-Missouri River Valley through this evening as scattered strong to severe thunderstorms develop over the coming hours.
