Vehicles must be moved from snow routes

Phase 2 of the Emergency Snow Ordinance goes into effect at 7 p.m., meaning vehicles must be removed from snow routes by 9 p.m. or they may be towed.

Police announced Phase 2 quickly after advising drivers to use caution on bridges and overpasses as roadways are becoming slick, police said.

James McCarthy Drive is closed until further notice due to weather, police also announced.
