The first August practice of the 2024 Chiefs Training Camp brought out crowds of people excited to cheer on their favorite team.

Frankie Lund, a 9-year-old fan, said he came out to training camp because he was invited by his friend, 10-year-old Hayes Walker.

“He invited me to go to training camp with him and I wanted to,” Lund said.

The young fans went on to share what they were most looking forward to at camp.

“Getting some autographs by the defensive backs,” Lund said.

“Just watching the players do fun stuff,” Walker said.

High schoolers Eric Mccolgin and Dawson Head said they came to training camp as a way to grow closer with their teammates.

“Well actually, part of our football team came out here today,” Mccolgin said.

“Our coach sent us out here on a team-building trip,” Head said.

There are still several more training camp sessions that St. Joseph fans can attend. A full list of camp dates and tickets can be found at chiefs.com/trainingcamp.
