Chiefs claim AFC Championship on road to Super Bowl

River Bluff Brewing and Chiefs’ fans all gathered Sunday afternoon to celebrate the team winning the AFC Championship against the Baltimore Ravens and making their way to the Super Bowl LVIII.
The brewery had every television set to the Chiefs’ game, which was much appreciated by guests. The Chiefs’ defense kept the 17-7 lead for the majority of the game until the last quarter, when the Ravens earned a field goal, making the score 17-10 with less than three minutes to go, leaving fans at River Bluff on the edge of their seat.
“It’s been an exciting game, like they are all,” Justin Alvarez said. “The Chiefs never take it easy on us. They give us some cardiac situations.”
Regarding the teams’ recent performance, Chiefs’ fans could be best described as “skeptical” these last few weeks, but are now confident their beloved team will claim another Super Bowl victory for 2024.
“We’ll face the Lions and we’re gonna destroy them,” Alvarez said.
The Lions ultimately fell to the 49ers 31 to 34 in the NFC Championship.
With their second consecutive AFC Championship, the Chiefs will make their way to the Super Bowl for the fourth time since 2020, hopefully resulting in another win under their belt.
