Hall of Fame nominations sought at Central

Central High School is looking to add some last-minute nominees to its 2024 Hall of Fame Class.
“The Hall of Fame was created to recognize and honor outstanding individuals or teams who have accomplished and distinguished him/herself/themselves through extraordinary athletic achievements and contributions that command respect and admiration for both themselves and Central High School,” Central said. “A complete list of the Hall of Fame inductees can be found on the Central Indians Athletics website at gocentralindians.com under the Hall of Fame tab.”
Nominees must be an athlete who graduated from Central at least 10 years ago, a Central staff member who worked there for at least 10 years or a community member who made significant contributions to the Central athletics program.
The nomination deadline is Dec. 1.
Nominations can be submitted by filling out a form at gocentralindians.com and sending it either by mail to 2602 Edmond St., St. Joseph, MO, 64501, or bringing it to Central.
Nominees can be living or deceased. The number of inductees is decided by the selection committee and forms must include the nominee’s current address, phone number, photo and any other supporting information.
Additionally, anyone who would like to donate to the hall of fame may send a check made out to “Central Athletics” with the memo “Hall of Fame” to the above address.
