Bishop LeBlond defeats Plattsburg 60-12 in News-Press NOW’s Game of the Week.

If the opening kickoff served as a foreshadow of how Friday’s nights contest would play out, Bishop LeBlond would serve as the beneficiary. Plattsburg would fumble the opening kickoff, giving LeBlond an early trip on offense in which they would capitalize.

LeBlond quarterback Cooper Tabor would find Jacob Winkelbauer for a touchdown on the ensuing drive following the turnover, jump starting the game in the Golden Eagles’ favor.

LeBlond had another high-scoring performance up its sleeve, scoring at least 50 points once again to route the Tigers on their home field. LeBlond loaded the bus on Friday night as one of two teams left in the St. Joseph area still undefeated at 4-0. The Tigers and Golden Eagles are expected to play each other again in St. Joseph on Oct. 25.

Savannah defeats Lafayette 53-0.

East Buchanan defeats North Platte 13-7.

Mid-Buchanan defeats West Platte 40-8.

Riverside defeats McLouth 34-14.

Central falls to North Kansas City 36-10.

St. Joseph Christian falls to North Andrew 26-12.

DeKalb falls to Rock Port 54-0.
