Benton @ Lafayette

The Fighting Irish host their crosstown rival in a series that Lafayette has owned. They own the latest bragging rights when they won 26-14 at Sparks Field last season. Benton enters this one off of a 21-14 loss to Central last Friday night.

Central v. Grandview 2024 marks the third year in a row the Central Indians have started a season 2-0. The Indians get a chance to build up their hot start with an 0-2 Grandview that lost 45-8 to Kearney last week.

St. Joseph Christian v. Albany

The Lions enter this game 2-0, winning their first two games by an average of 56 points. St. Joseph Christian will look to right the wrong of a 10-point loss they suffered last year to Albany. Albany also enters this game with a record of 2-0, winning their games by an average of 35 points.

Mid-Buchanan v. Centralia (KS)

The Dragons welcome a highly successful Centralia team to their home field on Friday night. The Dragons put their 2-0 record on the line against a Centralia team that’s won 71% of its games since 2015 and four state championships since 2009.

Bishop LeBlond @ Knox County (Saturday at 1 p.m.)

The Golden Eagles enter this Saturday contest with a 2-0 record, while Knox County is 0-2 off the heels of a 36-point loss last Friday to Plattsburg. The addition of senior Trey Icke has served LeBlond well as he has scored multiple touchdowns in the first two games.

Savannah @ Kirksville

The Savages picked themselves up when they went into a competitive game with East Buchanan and won in shutout fashion 20-0 over the Bulldogs. Kirksville enters Friday’s game off the heels of a 42-7 victory to improve its record to 2-0.

East Buchanan @ Lawson

This KCI Conference matchup has been dominated by East Buchanan, who has won the last three contests against the Cardinals by an average of 34.6 points per game.
