Simmons siblings to share big stage

For Andrea and Jason Simmons, basketball has always been a shared love, and it’s an activity that can’t help but bring them closer.

Both siblings are starters for their respective teams heading into this weekend’s class 4 state semifinals, a stage the Benton girls and boys were able to advance to this past week. It’s also the first time the two will get to share the stage together. For Andrea, she’s made the state final four in the past, so it’s nothing new to the senior, but getting to see her younger brother Jason make it this far with her is an experience she’s looking forward to.
