Lady Cardinals to play for state championship

The Benton girls basketball team is headed to the Class 4 state championship game on Saturday following a 58-44 win over Logan-Rogersville in the semifinals.

Benton junior Eliana Arambula led all Cardinal scorers with 17 points. Senior Andrea Simmons put up 16 points.

The Cardinals will move on to play Doniphan at 8 p.m. Saturday in the state championship game.
