St. Joseph is in the midst of summer celebrations with games the whole family can participate in with this week’s edition of See St. Joseph.

Live music, local food and drink vendors and a beautiful day playing cornhole with friends. You can only get all of this at Creek Fest. The first event of its kind, Treasure Gardens, Hazel’s Coffee and WoodSchott Woodworks are teaming up to bring St. Joseph a Saturday filled with fun, games and fruity drinks on June 29. Whether you’re a professional or just playing for fun, all are welcome. First-, second- and third-place teams will receive a portion of the proceeds as a prize. Cheyenne and Tyler Giles will be performing live from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The Hazel’s Winnebago will be serving up some delicious drinks to cool everyone off while Whit’s Pit Barbeque will fill them up. Bags will begin flying at 3 p.m. Saturday at Treasure Gardens, 18271 State Highway W, in Cosby, Missouri. To learn more or register, visit the event’s Facebook page.

Get your thinking caps on and your buzzer hand ready because it’s time for the 11th annual Library Trivia Night. This fundraising event features eight rounds of questions on general trivia with prizes for the best team after each round. There also will be a 50/50 drawing and teams will have the option to purchase mulligans to use during trivia rounds. There will be snacks and drinks for all ages. It’s $90 to participate with a team of up to six people, and all proceeds from the night will be used to support programs and services at the library. It’s a great way to test your knowledge while supporting local libraries. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, June 29, at the Fairview Golf Course banquet room, 3302 Pacific St.

We’ve got cornhole and trivia, so why not throw one more game in the mix this weekend with the Voices of Courage Puttin’ for a Purpose Tournament. Who doesn’t enjoy a relaxing and fun game of putt-putt golf on a sunny Sunday afternoon? Castle Bridge Event Center is co-hosting with Voices of Courage to help raise funds for the agency to continue to provide free services to children experiencing abuse or trauma in Northwest Missouri. Teams of four can pre-register to play for $25 or register on the day of for $30. There will be vendors, live music, prize holes and even a longest-drive challenge. The event goes from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Castle Bridge Event Center at 8403 U.S. Highway 59.
