The event goes from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Felix Street Gourmet in Room 108.

Prestynā€™s Wine Bar is hosting its first-ever Singleā€™s Night this Saturday. The event includes snacks plus a free drink for the after-party at The Den. Tastings of Prestynā€™s wine or mixed drinks begin at 4 p.m. Saturday, followed by games at 5:30 p.m. and music by DJ Riley at 6 p.m.

The Missouri Theater is welcoming the garage band turned legends, the Kansas Band. The classic rock group started not far from home in Topeka and released its debut album in 1974, going on to sell more than 30 million albums worldwide, with notable songs such as ā€œCarry on Wayward Sunā€ and ā€œDust in the Wind.ā€ The show begins at 7:15 p.m. Saturday at the Missouri Theater.

To celebrate the 96th Academy Awards, the Trail Theater will be hosting an Oscars watch party from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday with doors opening at 5 p.m. Grab some friends and get dressed up for a night. And since itā€™s the Oscars and glamour is the name of the game, formal dress is strongly encouraged but not required. Guests can take pictures on the red carpet photo op and enjoy food and drink specials. Once you buy a ticket, youā€™ll receive a link to vote on who you think will win the Oscars. The person with the closest picks will receive a prize of their own.
