Cook Road bridge scheduled for roadside work

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (News-Press NOW) -- The Missouri Department of Transportation has scheduled some roadside work for the Cook Road bridge on Wednesday, March 5.
According to MoDOT, Cook Road will be narrowed to one lane for roadside work on Wednesday. Workers will be securing rocks at the east side of the bridge, which were originally installed to minimize erosion during the bridge replacement project last year.Â
MoDOT expects that the roadside work will impact traffic and have scheduled Flaggers to guide drivers through the work zone from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. until the estimated completion on Thursday, March 6.Â
