House fire temporarily closes portion of King Hill Avenue

The cause of a fire that started just before noon Tuesday at a home at the intersection of King Hill and Indiana avenues is unknown and an investigation is underway.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene and temporarily closed King Hill Avenue for a few blocks.

Fire inspectors remained on the scene on Tuesday afternoon, according to Assistant Fire Chief Jamey McVicker. He said he could not share any details of the fire while it is under investigation.
