A two-vehicle crash around 11:10 a.m. Wednesday in Andrew County resulted in multiple people injured.

Avenue City, Mo. (News-Press NOW) â€” A two-vehicle crash around 11:10 a.m. Wednesday in Andrew County resulted in multiple people injured.

The crash occurred as a 59-year-old St. Joseph man was westbound on Route W in a 2002 Dodge Caravan and failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of U.S. Highway 169.

The St. Joseph man's vehicle was struck by a 2025 Buick Envision traveling south on U.S. 169 at Avenue City, Missouri, according to a Missouri State Highway crash report.

The driver of the Buick, a 70-year-old Albany, Missouri, man sustained moderate injuries. The St. Joseph man was seriously injured.

Both men were transported to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph for their injuries, according to the crash report.
