New highway patrol troopers set to graduate

The Missouri State Highway Patrol will have some new troopers in the new year.

The 122nd recruit class will graduate at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, in the Patrol Academy’s gymnasium in Jefferson City. The patrol is also planning on livestreaming the graduation on its Facebook page, at facebook.com/motrooper.

The 122nd recruit class began training on July 1. The new troopers will be assigned to their duties and begin working on Jan. 6.

Judge Robin Ransom from the Supreme Court of Missouri is attending the graduation to give the oath of office to the new troopers, Attorney General Andrew Bailey will be delivering the keynote speech and the patrol’s Colonel Eric Olsen also will have a speech for the graduates.
