The Missouri State Highway Patrol is participating in the Mothers Against Drunk Driving Red Ribbon Campaign this holiday season.

MADD is a national nonprofit organization and its goal is to “end impaired driving for good.”

Patrol officers will be participating in the campaign throughout the holiday season until Jan. 1 and their vehicles will display a red ribbon.

“The red ribbons remind the public that driving impaired is a choice” patrol officials stated in a release.” Every crash, every injury and every death is preventable.”
