Livingston County’s holiday parade will have a man in uniform at its head this weekend.

Deputy Christian Macrander with the county’s sheriff’s department will lead the parade this Saturday, Nov. 23.

Macrander is receiving the honor after completing his field training, doing an excellent job with reports and helping residents with several difficult situations, according to Livingston County Sheriff Dustin Woelfle.

The sheriff added that his department has received compliments from residents about Macrander’s “kind and helpful attitude.”

Woelfle said his office is looking forward to seeing how Macrander’s career in law enforcement develops as he serves the residents of Livingston County.
