Alcohol found on scene of Friday night crash

St. Joseph Police continue to investigate a collision between a motorcycle and a car that left one dead and two injured Friday night.

At approximately 9 p.m. Friday, a car was traveling south on 18th Street and turned to head east onto Highly Street. The car then collided with a motorcycle headed north on 18th Street.

According to Sgt. James Tonn with the St. Joseph Police Department, alcohol was found on the scene. Toxicology reports are pending.

After reviewing traffic footage, Tonn said the motorcycle appeared to be going over the speed limit.
