The Doniphan County Sheriff’s Department is asking for help in finding out who is behind a string of burglaries of cars and buildings in Troy, Kansas, earlier this week.

The burglaries happened in the early morning hours of Oct. 21, and officials are looking for security or doorbell video that shows suspicious activity between 2:30 and 5:30 a.m. that day. The sheriff’s department also wants to hear from anyone in the area whose vehicle or building was broken into, even if nothing was taken.

Information can be shared with the sheriff’s department by calling 785-985-3711 or emailing videos or details to sheriff@doniphanso.org.

Officials remind people to lock their car and building doors securely and take anything of value out of vehicles before they leave.
