A man is in a Des Moines hospital after receiving serious injuries in a crash Wednesday evening in Nodaway County.

Joe Hamilton, 46, of New Market, Iowa, was flown to the hospital following the accident, which happened at 8:30 p.m. on Route JJ about 6 miles west of Hopkins, Missouri.
