Man thrown from vehicle in Caldwell County crash

A 78-year-old man received serious injuries in a crash Tuesday afternoon near Kingston, Missouri.

Jerry Webb of Kearney, Missouri, was flown to Truman Medical Center West after he drove off Route H two miles west of Kingston, hit a stump that caused his truck to overturn and was thrown from the vehicle at about 2:50 p.m., according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report. He was not wearing a seat belt, the report said.
