SJPD investigating robbery at gunpoint

The St. Joseph Police Department is investigating a robbery that happened last weekend.

According to a press release from the St. Joseph Police Department, officers responded to a home around 4:15 a.m. Saturday at 4505 Wilshire Drive after a resident reported that two unknown individuals approached him as he arrived home then robbed him at gunpoint.

The victim further reported that money and personal items were taken from him during the robbery. The victim did not report any injuries due to the incident.

This investigation is ongoing and appears to be an isolated incident, Capt. Jeff Wilson stated. No identifying information about possible suspects is available at this time.
