A 23-year-old man was seriously injured in an incident involving a golf cart around 1:15 a.m. Saturday in Gentry County.

A golf cart driven by Korbin L. Fletchall, 20, of Stanberry, Missouri, was traveling south on a private drive, about two and a half miles northwest of Stanberry, Missouri, with an occupant hanging from the driver’s side exterior.

The occupant, Greyson J. Juergensmeyer, 23, of Westphalia, Missouri, fell off the moving vehicle and struck the ground, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

Juergensmeyer was transported to Mosaic Life Care in Albany, Missouri, before being taken to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri, by Life Flight Eagle for his injuries.
