Vehicle strikes pedestrian Tuesday night

One person suffered minor injuries after being hit by a car Tuesday.

The crash occurred just after 8 p.m. at South Ninth Street and Mason Road.

The pedestrian suffered minor injuries, according to police, and no one in the vehicle was injured.

Police notified residents shortly after to avoid the area while working the scene.
