Kansas City police still searching for former MWSU student

A former Missouri Western State University student is still missing after he was last seen nearly two months ago in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Kansas City Missouri Police Department posted on social media Wednesday reiterating details about T’Montez Hurt, a 19-year-old who was last seen around 11:40 a.m. on Feb. 1 in the area of 12th Street and Troost Avenue. Police said he is believed to have been seen walking around 77th Street and Troost Avenue at 1:30 p.m. that same day.

Hurt is a Black man with black and red hair and brown eyes. He is around 6-foot-1 and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a royal blue Price Chopper polo and green sweatpants. He has a tattoo on his right arm.

Missouri Western State University officials confirmed to News-Press NOW in February that Hurt was a student in the fall but was not currently enrolled at the time of his disappearance.
