Former Missouri Western student missing in Kansas City

A 19-year-old former Missouri Western State University student has been missing since Feb. 1 in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Kansas City Police Department confirmed that T’Montez Hurt is listed as a missing person, and the case has been assigned to a detective.

Hurt was last seen at the Greyhound Bus Station at 1101 Troost Ave.

The case was originally assigned to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, who reported he was last seen wearing a royal blue Price Chopper polo, dark gray sweatpants and Nike high-top shoes.

Missouri Western State University officials confirmed that Hurt was a student in the fall but was not currently enrolled.

The Kansas City Police Department is now in charge of the case. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call the KCPD Missing Person Unit at (816) 234-5043.
