A 23-year-old man was seriously injured in a crash Wednesday around 7:35 p.m. in Clinton County.

Trenton A. McElvain, 23, of Cameron, Missouri, was northbound on Interstate 35, one mile south of Lathrop, Missouri, when he traveled off the road, struck the emergency crossover and became airborne.

The front of the 2009 Nissan Titan hit the ground and overturned, coming to rest on its top, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.
