A teen girl was injured seriously Monday evening in Livingston County when her truck collided head-on with another vehicle.

The 16-year-old Bogard, Missouri, resident, whose name was not released by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, was going north at 6:30 p.m. on U.S. 65 about eight miles south of Chillicothe when she went into the southbound lane and struck a truck driven by Davie Allen, 57, of Carrollton, Missouri, according to a report.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol report said. The teen was taken to Carroll County Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. No injuries were reported for Allen.
