Purina, River Bluff hosting tailgate fundraiser for animal shelter

Purina and River Bluff Brewing are sponsoring a tailgate party that includes adoptable animals this Sunday.

The event at River Bluff Brewing, located at 1224 Frederick Ave., will have pets available for adoption, as well at KC Wolf, a Chiefs raffle and hot dogs fresh off the grill.

T-shirts and pint glasses will also be available for sale, with proceeds going to the shelter.

The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with the animals and KC Wolf arriving at 1 p.m.
