Time for the adults to step forward
The primary obligation of government is to provide for the protection of its citizens. Failure to do so constitutes dereliction of duty.
Millions of illegals have crossed our southern border in the past three years. Many come from nations unfriendly to the United States, including nations which promote terrorist activities.
We are a nation of immigrants, especially during the 1800’s and early 1900’s. The difference is they followed the established legal process. That process is currently not applied at our southern border.
While most crossing our border are good people, there are also members of violent gangs, illegal drug dealers and people with diseases we had previously eradicated. Most have scattered across our nation, and we have no record of where they are today.
Sadly, these people have arrived by tacit permission and invitation. Virtually all are rewarded with millions of dollars in welfare, medical care and housing. This while many of our own citizens are suffering through ongoing inflation with most costs adding to our national debt.
Sadly, those skilled professionals wishing to migrate here legally are stymied by the chaos at the border. It is time for the adults to step forward.

Culture of collapse
Is American in a culture of collapse?
Just in the last few months, we have witnessed the economy, education (test scores), social life (homelessness), woke, DEI, a foreign policy in confusion, and the police leaving their department by the hundreds and the condition of our military. Can we bounce back from leaving $85 billion+ in new operational weapons behind?
Is the real cause poverty and wanting more for nothing? This appears to be a type of “self-induced” greed and give me, give me expectations. The borders are wide open, letting in who knows who. Who are they? Are they sick? Are they drug dealers? And yet, we leave the borders open. And look who is walking across the borders: none other than the Chinese. That is not going to be good in the long run, in my opinion!
What are we left in their wake — trash, vets removed from housing replaced by these illegals, billions in “gift” cards being issued (where can I get one?). Just add more the growing $34 trillion national debt. Our kids can worry about it since the politicians do not seem to think it is bad!
Forgive student loans. Too bad if you worked your tail off and paid yours. Interest rates are up. Remember the Carter years and the inflation rate?
Can we justify borrowing nearly $2 trillion more? Look at your taxes this year and see if you are better off. Must have needed it for those 10 million illegals.
We’ve got to make sure everybody is equal. That used to be called socialism, now it’s just leave the southern back door open!
Look at the condition of our military. Balloons doing fly overs taking pictures, Iran attacking bases, the Hamas murders. No, we’d rather worry about Jan. 6! Military officers who somehow end up as lobbyists, consultants, board members.
Is it a boy, no it’s a girl — what the heck happened, changing sexes like underwear? Transgender civil rights a must, but too bad, aborted babies don’t get the same rights!
And the icing on the cake: catch and release, no bail, wide open looting and destruction of property seems to be the new way of big city life, and if we get bored, let’s just accuse Trump of something to tie him up in court, costing him to spend millions!
And before I forget, congrats to Harvard for finally firing Claudine Gay, and to poor Hunter, the fall guy, brace yourself.
