school weeks
Why would anyone consider a shorter school week when we are behind most of the developed nations in math and science education? For instance, in Japan, students go to school six days a week and do not have summer vacations.

magic trick
Let me get this straight. Is Biden doing magic? He has allowed V.A. money to be given to 17,000 “illegal” immigrants in the form of a welfare program that the government just modified!
It was simple. All they had to do was change the eligibility rules to allow “non-citizens” and, in this case, “illegals,” to be able to receive these benefits by a mere change to the Safety Net Assistance Program. See how simple the government makes things happen!
Heh, what is the big deal? According to the OTDA, only a small portion of the mere $4.3 billion for the migrant crisis has already been used for payment of another nature, and this change will only cover about 10% of the state’s migrants.
Ten percent, what? Estimates alone show roughly 173,000 migrants came to New York since 2022! So, see, 17,000 is roughly 10%!
And they are only to use these checks (cards?) on rent, utilities, clothing, necessities — like food, I hope. Maybe that is a different card — SNAP to it, boys.
And you regular working stiffs of New York, all you must do is to continue to pay your taxes. Forget that this move just tossed homeless vets out! Remember, “I” before “V.”
After all, if they can just close schools and move them into them, just think of the possibilities they can come up with next — I know, I know, how about the U.N building next! Brilliant idea, that is one. Atta boy.
Just think, if Biden wins the election, money will be pouring out of D.C. like Niagara Falls. Who knows what program will be the one being played like that game show “The Price is Right.” Come on down.
Seems to me that the “Big Apple” has a worm in it! Wonder how many politicians will fall off the turnip truck before they wake up?
