I see where the Parks Department is going to shut down the Aquatic Center because they can’t seem to get it fixed right. They spend all this money on the engineers, and nobody knows what to do with it. So now they’re going to tear it out and put a splash park up in North End. It’s just one thing after another, how to blow our tax dollars. Maybe it’s time we look at a new parks director.

Quid pro quo

Why is Missouri’s attorney general spending Missouri tax money to try to get Trump’s gag order lifted by the Supreme Court? Is this a quid pro quo just to get Trump’s endorsements for his campaign?

How will we pay?

I’m calling about the school tax. They forgot about us people living on a limited income. Now, we got to wonder how we’re going to come up with more money to pay our taxes.

have issues?

I don’t know if anybody else had any problems trying to get the election results on Channel 2. I only have a 32-inch TV and they were hard to see. And they never did fix it, so I ended up watching them on News-Press NOW Channel 3 because at least I could see them. I just was wondering if anyone else had any issues with it or not.

It’s amusing

I think it’s amusing that Donald Trump is scared to death of Kamala Harris. He’s afraid to debate her. He’s trying to make up excuses for why he won’t do what he said he would do “for the sake of the country” and debate. Well, he won’t debate her.
