Monday, May 27, we chose to celebrate as Memorial Day. I hope everyone enjoys the three-day weekend, picnics and all that goes with it. We chose to decorate the graves of family, friends and veterans who served our country, and thousands upon thousands that made the ultimate sacrifice for this nation, laying down their lives that we may live free. How convenient. Memorial Day is this Thursday, May 30th. The true Memorial Day. A lot of people today were born into this mindset, make it easy and convenient for me to enjoy myself. It wasn’t easy or convenient for those who made the ultimate sacrifice when they laid down their lives. I hope and pray you will remember this this Thursday, May 30th, the true Memorial Day. Reflect and remember on that day.
Maybe it’s
not that bad
If the economy is as bad as everybody says it is, how did record numbers of people afford to fly or drive somewhere over the holiday?
Kind of sad
It’s kind of sad when you think about it, but we went from the greatest generation to the lost generation in 80 years.
