train wreck

If all American publicly traded companies were like Trump media, no one would buy stocks. In the greatest capitalistic country that ever existed, Trump’s company lost $300 million in the first quarter of 2024 on declining revenues, while paying its executives millions. If you are a stockholder, you don’t want to be the last one to jump off that train wreck.

A private conversation

The best comment I’ve heard on Harrison Butker’s speech is that he’s a Catholic man invited to speak at a Catholic university. He didn’t go to speak to us. We weren’t there. It was a private conversation at a private university. We should leave it alone and let people have their conversation and not hate them for it.

Hit the mute button

I don’t know whether I’m getting old or just tired, but I’m getting to the point where I just can’t stand to listen to the hate filled rhetoric of our president. I mean, I go out and visit with people of different faiths, different colors, different beliefs, and we all get along. What is wrong with this guy? I just have to hit the mute button. I can’t stomach to listen to it anymore. I pray to God that hate does not conquer us. I pray that love will rule the day. Maybe that’s a long shot, but that’s all I got.

Alito and Thomas should be kicked off the Supreme Court. It’s not called the Supreme Court anymore. It’s Trump’s court.
