Unethical behavior

Unethical behavior has won again in the Missouri Legislature. Dean Plocher, Speaker of the House, was accused of using his political influence to block an ethics investigation into his misuse of state tax money and using the office to help his employer win a high dollar contract from the state of Missouri. The Republican Ethics Committee, chaired by Hannah Kelly, a Plocher appointee, voted seven to two to dismiss the ethics complaint.

Believe the women

Trump said all the women lied about him. I believe the women. Trump never tells the truth about anything.

Something’s wrong

So the city has $7 million to help a private organization build a swimming pool, but we don’t have enough to repair the Aquatic Center. The big pool has had problems since it was built and was completely closed the last few years. And they’ve closed down Hyde Park and now they’re going to close down our other public swimming pool. They don’t have the money to repair those, but they have all that money to help a private organization build a swimming pool? Something’s wrong with our city council.

Nothing but trouble

The problem with being elderly is you have a memory. and I remember when former President Clinton welcomed Arafat into the White House, I knew right then it would lead to nothing but trouble.
