It’s Your Call for April 23

I’m proud of him
I’m not a Speaker Johnson fan, but I’m sure proud of him standing up for his country, our country. It took a lot of courage. But he is the speaker of the house. A Speaker of the House not only represents his party, but all of America. And, as a leader, he takes and makes compromises for the good of the country. This is what we call leadership. Congratulations, Speaker Johnson. This reminds me of Bill Clinton and Newt Gingrich when they worked together, opposite parties, and actually had a good year for the country.
The real question
This is about the “Just Wait” submission in It’s Your Call where he or she says, the legislation passed to give credits off the backs of taxpayers to private schools. The real question that should be asked is why people who pay taxes for the public schools choose to pay more money to send their children to private schools.
Better use of
the money
These politicians aggravate the heck out of me. If they can send billions and billions of dollars overseas to help out these countries, Ukraine and all of them, why can’t they spend selling them billions and build the fence down at the border to keep these people out of here that are coming in illegally? And why can’t they have the money to help the homeless, the retired and the poor?
Undo the damage
Even if the Republicans regained the White House and the Presidency, it will take years to undo the damage done by the last three Democratic presidents.
