Don’t ignore the old parts of town

This is about the new pool proposal at the new Y. I would just suggest that if the city or anybody is going to spend any more of taxpayer money, please put it in the old parts of St. Joe. It was wonderful. We had the Y downtown. A lot of people used it, a lot of more people could have used it if they had really promoted it. I think that any pool should be in the old part of town.

To the person who is wondering how much more money the administration can spend before the November election, you need to be aware that all money comes from Congress. The Republican House is the one that controls the budget. The President can spend no money that has not come through or been made available by Congress.

Quite ridiculous

AOC is quite ridiculous. She said if these students can get their loans forgiven, maybe they can do something nice like going overseas on an overseas trip. We Americans, senior citizens who have worked all our lives and paid off our student loans, can’t even afford to go overseas anymore. Don’t act like this is something that they deserve. They’ve got to earn that. And they cannot earn it by putting their student loans on the backs of people who have already paid off their student loans.
