Shift the priorities

I noticed the other day in the News-Press that Chief Luster says we can’t arrest our way out of this issue, referring to the homeless issue in St. Joseph. He’s probably right, but maybe we should devote less money to trail bike riding in St. Joseph, maybe a little less to parks and recreation, we have plenty as it seems now, and maybe more to developing low-cost housing in this town and more to bringing jobs to St. Joseph.

Good job!

I’d like to thank President Biden for the stock market going up and also for the lower price of gas. Good job.

It gets old

I think what frustrates a lot of people about our government and our politicians is the fact that they don’t seem to want to honor and work with the laws that are on the books. They always want new laws, more laws. It’s never ending. “Let’s make a new law!” It gets a little old when you see they refuse to work with the laws that are already in place.

Where’s ours?

I see where New York is handing out prepaid debit cards. Hey, Biden and the rest of you, where’s ours? Where’s the American citizens’ money?
