Can’t make

up their minds

Observing and reading all about all that is going on with the St. Joseph’s school board, I have to ask how the school board can feel confident that the $20 million bond has a chance of passing. A month ago, they were going to stay with the three high school plan. Now, they want to build two new schools at a cost of $80 to $120 million each. They can’t seem to make up their mind on what they think is best and probably will never be able to agree on a long-term plan.

Requires too much

I’m calling about the substitute teaching problem. I was a substitute teacher myself in the early ‘90s directly for the district, and it was a delight and I loved it, and I got paid $40 a day. But here’s the difference. Now that they’ve farmed it out, where you’re no longer reporting to the St. Joe School District, they don’t hire you. It’s a third-party group that makes all the money. That’s the problem. That group requires too much. I mean, I am way overqualified to be a substitute teacher, but I checked into it and my goodness, you have to do all of this online training even if you have a college degree.

We’ve got good memories

So Jamie Raskin doesn’t think the American people have a good memory. I got news for Raskin. We’ve got too good a memory.

At least he did something

We are always planning the blame game on the border. Both parties are to blame. However, at least our last president did things to keep us from being invaded. And at the minute this president got in, he took all that off.
