Schenecker, Mark E. 1960-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Mark Edward Schenecker, 54, of St. Joseph, passed away at his home Friday, March 21, 2025. Mark was born Dec. 30, 1960, to Charles “Chuck” and Mary Beth (Culver) Schenecker.

He graduated from Bishop LeBlond High School and became a plumber, working alongside his father and brother at Schenecker Plumbing and Heating.

Mark was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He was a child at heart and will be remembered for his sense of humor and easygoing personality.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Charles Schenecker.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Beth; sister, Leslie Sommers (Lee); brothers, Steve and Rick; nieces and nephew: Caley McNemee, Kelsey Baber, Heather Crist, Katie Schenecker, Chuck Schenecker, Elizabeth Schenecker, Ashley Cruz, and Courtney Cruz; step-children, Danielle Christie and Jeremy Chavez; and numerous great-nieces and nephews and step-grandchildren.

Friends and family will gather at a later date.
